Revealing what others cannot see

Four Corners Thermography provides aerial thermal inspection services for renewable energy infrastructure across the Four Corners region. Using advanced thermal imaging from drone platforms, we detect panel-level defects in solar arrays and component failures in wind turbines — delivering GPS-tagged, field-ready reports that tell your maintenance crew exactly what's wrong and where to find it.

Why Aerial Thermography?

Solar panels and wind turbines degrade silently. A cracked cell, a failing bypass diode, or an overheating bearing won't show up on a production dashboard until the losses add up. Aerial thermal imaging catches these problems early — before a single-panel defect becomes a string-level outage, and before a worn bearing becomes a catastrophic failure.

Regular inspections help asset owners and O&M teams identify defects before they cascade into larger failures, document degradation trends over time for warranty claims, optimize maintenance schedules based on actual conditions rather than fixed intervals, and maximize energy production and return on investment.

How We Work

We fly manual inspection passes over your site, capturing thermal and visual imagery at the individual panel level. When we identify a defect, we document it with a thermal image showing the anomaly, GPS coordinates for precise location, and a severity assessment with a plain-language recommendation. Deliverables include georeferenced defect maps and interactive reports your field crew can use on a tablet to walk straight to the problem.

About the Operator

Four Corners Thermography is owned and operated by Brandon Sinclair, based in Farmington, New Mexico. Brandon brings over a decade of environmental field experience across the Four Corners region, including contamination assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance work. He holds a B.S. in Ecology and an M.S. in Environmental Science, and is a U.S. Army veteran with three deployments as a 12B Combat Engineer.

Certifications include FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, ITC/FLIR sUAS Level 1 Thermographer, and 13 additional professional credentials in environmental and technical disciplines.

Our Region

Based in Farmington, we serve solar and wind facilities across New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah. The Four Corners region's high solar irradiance and growing renewable energy portfolio make it one of the most active areas in the country for utility-scale solar development — and we're here to help keep those assets performing.
